About this policy
This policy explains how Football Wonderkid handles information in the app and on this website. It covers gameplay stored on your device, advertising supplied by Google AdMob, Apple in-app purchases and support requests.

Information used by the app
- On-device gameplay: player name and appearance, career progress, preferences, local game events and purchase-entitlement records are stored on your device. In the reviewed build, developer cloud saves, online leaderboards and remote gameplay analytics are disabled.
- Advertising: Google’s advertising SDK may process device or advertising identifiers, IP addresses and inferred approximate location, ad impressions and interactions, and crash or performance information. These support ad delivery, measurement, diagnostics and abuse prevention. We currently request non-personalised ads; this does not mean no data is processed.
- Purchases: Apple processes payments. The app uses product identifiers, transaction identifiers and entitlements to grant purchases, prevent duplicate grants and restore eligible purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
- Support: if you contact us, we receive your contact details, message and any files you choose to send. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information.
Advertising choices and consent
Where applicable, Google’s consent interface presents advertising choices. You can revisit these using Ad privacy options in the app menu when the option is available. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Consent choices can change which ads are available.
Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission is separate from GDPR consent. Any tracking that requires Apple’s permission must not occur unless that permission is granted. Your iOS tracking settings can be managed in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Buying Remove Ads disables advertising in the app once the entitlement is recognised. It does not erase information already processed by providers.
Why information is processed
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the applicable legal basis depends on the activity: providing requested gameplay and purchases may rely on performance of a contract; optional advertising-related storage or access uses consent where required; responding to support and maintaining security may rely on legitimate interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and mandatory records may be retained to meet legal obligations. We do not treat using the app as blanket consent.
Providers and disclosures
Google provides AdMob advertising and consent services. Apple provides App Store payments and relevant platform services. Our hosting and support providers may process requests sent to the website or support address. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights.

International processing
Providers may process information outside your country. Where EEA or UK personal information is transferred to a country without an applicable adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards are required, such as approved contractual clauses. Details and copies of relevant safeguards can be requested through the privacy contact.
How long information is kept
Local gameplay data remains until deleted from app storage or removed with the app, subject to device backup settings. Apple may retain purchase records under its own policies and legal duties. Advertising data is subject to the provider’s retention practices. Support correspondence and hosting logs are retained only for their stated purpose, any required legal period and necessary dispute handling.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. Contact the privacy address above; we may need proportionate information to verify your request. GDPR requests are normally answered within one month, with permitted extensions explained when applicable. You may complain to your local supervisory authority, including an EEA data-protection authority or the UK ICO.
We cannot retrieve gameplay stored only on your device. Removing local data may permanently remove your progress; back up anything you want to keep first. Deleting app data does not delete Apple’s purchase records or information held independently by advertising providers.
Children and young players
Football Wonderkid is intended for players aged 13 and over (13+). The app is not intended for children under 13. Players aged 13–17 still receive additional privacy protections; being 13 or older does not automatically mean a player can consent to all data processing in every country. Where parental permission is required by law, it must be obtained before consent-based processing. Advertising settings apply the appropriate child-directed and under-age-of-consent protections.
A parent or guardian can contact andrew@footballwonderkid.app with concerns about a child’s information. The fictional character’s age and the App Store age rating do not determine whether a child can legally consent to data processing.
This website
This showcase has no sign-up form, embedded app demo or advertising SDK. Its fonts and artwork are hosted locally. A hosting provider may receive your IP address and technical request information when serving pages. This policy does not cover analytics, cookies or other tools; if any are added in future, the policy and any necessary consent controls will be updated first.
